Benefits/Subscription Information

9. Did you write anything on your first album (If so, what songs)? Yes. 25 Reasons w/ Leslie and Jasper, The One For Me w/Timmy Allen, You Don’t Even Know featuring Nick Cannon, Just In Case w/ Jasper, and Never Had A Girl Like Me.

10. Do you prefer working with new producers and songwriters or established ones? I do have certain songwriters and producers that I dream of working with but if you are hot, you are hot. You could be Johnny Nobody but if we work well together then I want to be a part of what you are doing and I want you to be a part of what I am doing.

11. Who have you worked with so far (established songwriters/producers)? I’ve worked with The Neptunes, Jagged Edge, R. Kelly, Mystikal, K-Fam, The Platinum Brothers, Tionne (T-Boz of TLC), Q and Deron of 112, Kandi Burris, Shaundre, Jazzy Phae, Teddy Bishop, JQ, Adonis, Naz, KG of Naughty By Nature, Tony Rich, Roy Hamilton, Rico Wade, and Brain Cox.

12. Were you able to learn anything from the sessions that you can use when you are writing songs for yourself and other artists? I’ve definitely learned many tricks of the trade from the many sessions I’ve had and been a part of. I still incorporate them when I record and write songs for myself as well as other artists.

13. Do you prefer to work in the afternoon or at night? I don’t have a preferable time to work in the studio. However, I seem to come more alive creatively late at night/early morning. That’s also something I’ve seen in most artists and producers.

14. How many songs did you record for your first album? I recorded anywhere between 20-40 songs for my first album. There are three different versions of my album. A different one in Germany, Holland, and France, a different on in Japan, and a different one in the U.S.

15. How long did it take for you to record your album? It about 4 or 5 months to bring the album to a final closure. That’s really not a short period but because we wanted to be so sure and have perfect timing I never stopped recording. I was always recording.

16. What were you feeling like when you heard your song on the radio and saw your video on television for the first time?
I was actually at a radio station the first time I heard it being played, so I had an okay reaction to it. However, I was thrilled the first time I saw my video!
